Unfortunately it does not allow you to respond so if you have any questions you can call me or text them to me.
The very first scripture that I want to draw your attention to is Genesis 2 and 24 and I quote
"therefore Shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh"
This verse helps in developing biblical philosophy that the Lord and Making man never intended for him to be alone. Or to live alone thus when he created man he reached back in to Adam remove the rib and created Eve. It was from this point forward that God wanted man and a woman to be joined together
In 1 Corinthians we see the following as stated by the Apostle Paul
7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.
9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
In Matthew 19 The Jesus Christ spoke the following
3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
So What you should see in every instance of Scripture relevant to This is also confirmed in Mark 10 and 9 Where Jesus said What therefore God hath joined together let no man put asunder. He said that the same thing in two different places which means that his position didn't change and that divorce was never intended 4 the Church. Many pull the philosophy that fornication within a marriage is grounds for divorce. I have personally never been clear as to exactly how one can create Fornication within a marriage because fornication is between unmarried people.
The Bible does go once they say that even if one is divorced if they remarry then they are committing adultery if you divorce The only thing you can do is stay separate single and celibate the rest of your life Divorce between a couple it is certainly against the scripture because God says what he joins together no man can put asunder so there is no basis scripturally that would condone divorce. Needless to say many people within and out of the Church have done so and I pray that the Lord will extend mercy to them but it does not seem likely given the tradition of the scripture and God ordination of marriage.
Deacon certainly that What I have written here a little hastily does answer your questions but if not please feel free to contact me again for further discussions praying for you that the Lord will bless.
